There are no faster or firmer friendships than those formed between people who love the same books. Irving Stone
I love books and always have. Like an addict, I feel all out of sorts if I go too long without reading. Naively, I thought that my reading career was coming to an end with the birth of my son but that hasn’t been the case. Having less time to read has forced me to be more selective with what I do choose to read and it’s been a rewarding experience.
This section of my blog will consist of book recommendations that have become some of my recent favorites (click on “Book Recommendations” located on the right sidebar under Categories). These books have challenged my views on history, current social norms and faith. They have helped me wrestle with some of the big questions in life and have caused great discussion with others. If you choose to read some of my suggestions, I would love to know your thoughts and opinions. Hopefully a few will become yours as well. Enjoy!
Thanks for the recommendations. They look awesome!

LOVE THIS! Do you have a reading journal? I downloaded one from the Mrs. Darcy book club website and its changed the way I read for the better. My selections and genres and my TBR list feels so much better. I also am keeping track of what I read just little 3 sentence lines but its helpful to look back on
